Scientific Monitoring Committee

The Scientific Monitoring Committee (SMC) monitors and evaluates the projects to be considered for inclusion in MVDP’s portfolio and also plan their further development. During this process of evaluation and while planning the project development path SMC also seeks advice of the experts on the panel. Depending on the stage of the project (process/clinical development), appropriate MVDP technical Project Lead is assigned to lead the Project. SMC members are nominated by its stake holders i.e. Department of Biotechnology, International Centre of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology and PATH - Malaria Vaccine Initiative.
